Each year I work with the Estonian e-Governance Conference team to highlight their sponsors and partners through brief recorded interviews. It's a format I genuinely enjoy — helping organisations articulate their work and their support for one of Estonia's flagship government technology events.
My background informs this work in a direct way. I trained as an Integration Consultant and worked with HP consultants on the original X-Road system. I personally built e-Health connectors, so I have a first-hand understanding of the infrastructure these companies support.
The production is compact and intense: 23 short interviews recorded across approximately 36 hours. Each company gets roughly five minutes of preparation time before we roll. The conference organisers provide briefing materials and suggested questions, and I take it from there.
Every interview is completed in a single take. That creative constraint is something I genuinely enjoy — it demands spontaneous thinking and keeps the energy honest. All 23 interviews are available in the video section of the e-Governance Conference 2025 website.
