e-Governance Conference 2025 – Partner Videos
It is a pleasure to work with the Estonian e-Governance Conference each year. My role is to host the partner videos, a short segment with each conference sponsor to highlight their work and support.
Back in the day, when I was an IT trainer, I trained a group of HP consultants who worked on the original X-Road system and I also wrote some e-Health connectors myself. It’s exciting to be able to put this background into play and keep up to date with the latest developments in the e-Gov space.
Over the course of a day and a half, I record 23 short interviews as part of the deal when you sponsor the event.
I love this sort of challenge! The organizers of the conference do a great job at briefing me with information about each company and the sample questions I can ask. Given there are 23 videos to make, I often only get 5 minutes to review each outline, have quick chat with the interviewee to build a relationship and then we just have to go for it.
Every video is done in one take and I love having to think on my feet.
